Holiday Show
Hello friends,
It’s Bobbe, Allison’s husband writing to you today, with the help of Allison’s dear friends Rebecca Crowell and Joan Geary. Many of you already know the sad news that Allison passed away peacefully in March of 2024. Her absence is felt every day, but her presence lingers in the studio she loved, in the friendships she nurtured, and in the hundreds of artworks she left behind.
In the Studio
Walking into Allison’s studio in Granger, Indiana, you can still feel her energy. Brushes rest in jars, panels lean in quiet stacks, and the north light falls across the worktables just as she arranged them. She designed this space to hold her many experiments — from luminous layers of paint on panel to playful mixed‑media pieces on paper.
As we’ve been sorting through her work, we are reminded of her joy in discovery: the way she would follow a single mark into a whole new direction or pause to marvel at the subtle glow of color layered over texture.
Holiday Exhibit
In Allison’s honor, we’re launching the first in a series of curated collections: a Holiday Exhibit of small works on panel and multimedia board. These pieces are intimate in scale but rich in presence — perfect for living with, and for remembering Allison’s spirit of exploration.
All works in this collection are offered at $1,000.00, with shipping included within the continental U.S.
Continuing Her Legacy
Allison often wrote to you about her travels, her teaching, and the joy she found in the studio. She believed deeply in sharing her discoveries, and we know she would be delighted to see her work continue to spark inspiration in others.
Thank you for remembering her with us, and for keeping her vision alive through your appreciation of her art.
You may sign up for future information and updates on her website newsletters: https://allisonbcooke.com/blog/
With gratitude,
