A rare collectible of the master of surrealism, in a deep diving vintage helmet, underwater.

This original painting is part of a micro-series launched in Summer 2025, made of 2/2 originals acrylic paintings and 2/2 mixed media framed.

The SCUBA micro-series gained immediate validation among collectors upon release. The two mixed-media works were sold at launch. Of the two original paintings created, No. 2/2 is held permanently and remains undisclosed by the artist. No. 1/2 has been placed privately.

SCUBA was inspired during a summer dive in the waters of Port Lligat, on the Costa Brava. Apparently, the surrealist master, appeared to the artist underwater in a vintage deep diving suit.

The work stands as a contemporary tribute, celebrating the master of surrealism not only as an artist, but as an eternal icon of imagination and surreal discovery.

The painting is entirely painted with acrylics and spray cans, but also features some large copper studs on its front and silver ones on both sides. This unique detail brings an extra dimension to the artwork and turns it into a sought after art collectible.
