In a quest to avoid another artistic repetition of the original cover shot, I wanted to create something more original, a unique interpretation, more minimalist, more iconic, more Bowie⚡️.

The space setting came to my head while listening to one of his classic tunes: Space Oddity, while finishing the painting.

The result was an hybrid ‘Aladdin Sane’ in a 'Space Oddity' context... hence the title of ⚡️Aladd-in Space⚡️.
