I’m excited to share my latest work, *Glowing Veil of Twilight*, a 12 by 16-inch oil on canvas panel inspired by my trip to Taos, New Mexico in summer 2024. This piece captures a vivid landscape where a dramatic sunset sky glows with warm oranges, yellows, and subtle touches of teal and turquoise. The clouds diffuse the colors to create a quiet, luminous atmosphere. Below the horizon, softly rendered hills lead to a dense forest of dark green foliage, offering a strong contrast that draws you deeper into the scene. In creating this piece, I focused on tonalism to explore how light and shadow can shape mood and depth. I hope this painting invites you to pause and experience the tranquil beauty of that moment.
