The canvas grounds itself in earthy brown tones below while a single expansive cloud stretches softly across a clear blue sky. Through subtle shifts of white, gray, and warm brown, the cloud carries a sense of stillness and gentle movement. This piece grew from memories of traveling through the Southwest, where the wide-open spaces and layered skies left a lasting impression. My goal was to reflect that calm balance between earth and sky, inviting a pause in the silence of the desert.
