The diamond shapes are made from handmade recycled paper, painted with two coats of Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Primer. The large diamond is finished with several coats of florescent blue acrylic paint. There is no protective clear finish.

The exterior of the mirrored diamonds is a mirrored plastic sheet with an adhesive backing.
--> HANDLING and CARE: Use the protective cloth wrapped around the diamonds to hold the pieces as you install them. Try to not touch with your bare hands. Cleaning is optional, but use a soft dry cloth, or duster. Do Not use any liquid cleaner.

ASSEMBLY:

-- Parts:
Three wire armatures (Labeled 1 - 3), One large blue diamond, Three mirrored diamonds, Five lengths of nylon thread with hooks secured at each end, Two "S" hooks (tied to armatures for transport).

-- Tools:
* Scissors
* Drill
* Gloves (optional)

-- Install-by-numbers:

(A) Start by hanging the length of thread labeled "Start" in your desired place (anywhere at least 12 - 15 inches away from any wall or other obstruction).
--> PRO TIP: Assemble the mobile while you are standing on the floor and then carry the completed piece--carefully--to it's final location. It is perfectly ok to use a coat hook, or a nail in the wall to hang the mobile while you assemble it, just be mindful that the blue diamond does not have a protective coating.
(B) Hang armature 1 from the hook at the end of the Start thread. Hang pieces 1A and 1B from the hoops on the ends of the armature. **There are four labeled hoops**
(C) Disconnect armature 1 from the Start thread and add the "1 to 2" thread between the "Start" thread and armature 1.
(D) Disconnect the "1 to 2" thread from the "Start" thread and hook the "1 to 2" thread to the spiraled end of armature 2.
(E) Hook the center loop of armature 2 to the "Start" thread.
(F) Hook piece 2B to the hook and loop assembly labeled "2B goes here." Gently guide the piece to into balance to minimize movement.
(G) Disconnect armature 2 from the Start thread and add the "2 to 3" thread between the Start thread and armature 2.
(H) Hook piece 3A to the loop labeled "3A goes here." Disconnect thread "2 to 3" from the Start thread and hook it to the unlabeled end of armature 3. Hook the center loop of armature 3 to the start thread.
(I) Hook piece 3A to the hoop labeled "3A goes here." Gently guide the piece to into balance to minimize movement.
