Nature Talks

The works in this collection were made to show our connection to nature. The pieces were made using my portrait line drawings and restructuring them in a way that resembles a part of nature such as a beetle ( i.e. Coleoptera), butterfly or even a flower. The main color source you see in them was printed using the klecksography inkblot method and then for details or outlines, watercolor paint was added in.

One & Done

This collection consists of works with only one inkblot layer. When creating these pieces, the inkblot test stood out to me so much that I felt it didn’t need any other layers on top of it. Some of the pieces consist of some relief printing, but the two mediums never interact. This is an ongoing collection.

Style Trend

Style Trend is a series of printmaking pieces that directly correlates to the hair design posters I would see in hair stores or African braiding shops. I use my printmaking technique with my black hair stamps to create several different hair style designs.
