Artist’s Statement: I create abstract paintings that distill the light, the intense colors, and the constant movement in nature. When I first moved to the United States, my new home, I felt out of place and disoriented. My interaction with nature gave me confidence and a sense of belonging. I intend for these paintings to be uplifting and restorative to the human spirit. I hope they will inspire optimism and brighten the heart.
