Artist’s Statement: These are cut paper collages of flora in the vicinity of Tassajara Creek located near the East County Hall of Justice. I created these works from sketches made outside during walks in the surrounding neighborhood and landscape. I hope they encourage the viewer to reconsider the nearby hills and creekside as a natural, magical place again.
