Barrie Rokeach’s aerial photography provides a unique view of Alameda County. The photographs were taken from a small aircraft high above the landscape. The images are engaging and thought‐provoking while also quiet and serene. In talking about his process of capturing the image, Rokeach states, “As I circle around a form, observing the lighting, shadows, textures and colors transforming, at some point the intensity heightens and formalizes in my mind.”
