Artist Statement: These paintings begin as compositions on single pieces of paper, usually executed in a variety of media but always including watercolor and acrylic. The work is then cut up and reassembled to create a new multi-layered composition. The pieces, typically inspired by gardens and botanical imagery, emphasize movement, energy and color.
