Artist's Statement: The base of this piece consists of small swatches of fabric I recycled into a type of crazy quilt. Crazy quilts were so named because of their lack of defined pattern – I used this idea metaphorically to ponder the meaning of life…without any defined pattern. The top layer of netting is actually stitched prose with writing right side up and upside down.
