Artist’s Statement: Born into a family of biologists in Moscow, Russia, I search the natural world for clues. Fusing the scientific with the absurd, I pose my works as open-ended questions meant to spark a dialogue with the viewer. In splicing the organic with the structural, the intricate fibers of the universe become revealed.
