Artist Statement: In the artwork Maybe I’ll be a Model, a young boy is seated on a golden spiral of life with a grid of male and female models in the background. The boy is dreaming of being a model like his brother and mother. Perhaps modeling will pay for his college education if he starts now. I want the viewer to think about encouraging young children to dream and to set goals.
