Artist’s Statement: During the mid-1800s, Cherryland was home to many fruit tree orchards. This painting is inspired by the abundant cherry, plum, and orange trees that were common during that era. I hope that viewers will enjoy experiencing the bounty of these beautiful and colorful fruits that are so central to Cherryland’s history.
