Artist's Statement: Ebb and Flow of Healing Waters illustrates water as a healing element. It is dreamy, soothing, wet, nurturing, and cleansing. Water connects us to the earth as the basic element to sustain life. The youth in the mural are swimming; they are floating with each stroke, and a sunrise is in the background. A baseball game is seen onshore, and messages of hope from the detained youth ripple through the water.
