Artist Statement: My preference has been to find objects of interest in familiar surroundings, to photograph the natural beauty that is often overlooked. Through these prints I try to show the real world, producing realistic but expressive photographs in which every part of the image is sharp and focus. When manipulation of a print is necessary, I try to do it as subtly as possible. All the images are printed in my darkroom from medium-format film.
