Artist’s Statement: The sound of water under a sandstone cliff along a narrow valley of ancient fruit trees in central Turkey reveals a natural cistern. Engaging with the sculpted evidence of water’s actions over time, I consider the human-made global redistribution of water, water’s equitable access, and the need for careful management.
