Firstly my apologies for the low quality of the image. I actually didn't think that I had a photographic record of this painting. I chanced upon this image, which I believe to be the only photo, whilst looking for something else. Whilst the quality of the image isn't the best, I can't begin to tell you how happy I was to find it.
Whistle Stop was a commission which I created for a lovely couple around 2015. I can remember that the brief was to create an artwork of all of the places from around the would that meant something to them. The buildings are fairly obvious but there are also a plethora of meanings created for the couple within the painting. For the life of me I cannot recall them all other than the little green sloth under the tree on the far right of the artwork. That's where they learned that Sloths are so docile and slow that mould grows on their fur.
