My paintings are visionary landscapes in which our inner visions of the land are made visible. The landscape is composed of the inner, the micro and macro. Most of the environment cannot be easily seen. What is usually seen is the obvious and the hidden is usually missed. Like missing the forest because of the trees. It is all intermeshed and cannot be separated into separate components because it is all necessary for existence. My paintings are all about the inner energies of nature and how it affects us in our inner being. It is about the resurrection energies of the natural and its effect on our existence. Also, it is sacred because it is the same as what our ancestors saw and dealt with because of the love of the land.
