Statement
My art is a ritual, a creation, a transformation, and a process of uniting my being to the larger universal energies. The overall theme that connects my artwork is the experience of something feminine, sensuous, exotic and alive in the sense that you can feel the power, beauty and force within the piece. When in the process of making my art, I believe what comes out is intuitive, emotional and spontaneous. What inspires me more than anything else is the call of freedom. My aspiration is independence from the constraints of normality. I am drawn to the metaphysical awareness of impermanence, the expansive realm of human consciousness, and the courageous ones who step into that vast unknown. My whole being craves this process of creation that originates internally, from within my heart and soul, using externally gathered materials, ideas, and images to compose artworks of significance.
