“Impermanence” is my tribute to earth rendered with the smooth surface and sharp edges of my favourite tool – the palette knife. Each stroke done in love of my natural surrounding, but also in anger at the abuses we have wrought upon our world. I present these paintings also with hope. A hope that if we really open our eyes and truly allow ourselves to see the beauty of our world and understand the impermanence of life, we can peel of the layers of greed, materialism and want and emerge as true benefactors of planet earth.
