This piece is one of the first paintings where I began incorporating carving elements. The paint has a high paint-to-water ratio, ensuring the paint stays in its original form without being absorbed by the wood. Whether through root-like lines or areas where the colors merge, every hue finds a way to interact and mix with one another.
