Syleah Forde was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She always took an interest in the art that she saw in cartoons and comics. She always wanted to create and would experiment with different mediums as a child. Working as a teen graphic designer at Artists for Humanity and studying design at Boston Arts Academy she is excited to learn more about art and turn it into a career
I love browsing art on the internet. Looking at art that people post on Pinterest and Instagram and seeing them post art that they made to express themselves inspires me the most. When I am assigned to a project or I decide to make personal art I often search for references or look at new art styles to influence any ideas that I have. I believe that sharing is one of the most important parts of art because it allows us to understand people in ways that we couldn’t before. Finding inspiration for my art is one of my favorite parts because it gives me motivation to finish the project, making the process much more enjoyable.
