Plate, 8.5 inches diameter. Brown transfer. Unknown maker. The only mark on the back is a large impressed "C." The largest section of the pattern is on the right, moving up to the top. It features a trellis with many interwoven leaves and flowers with trailing stems and vines. The top of the section is a scalloped circular shape filled with a pattern of a large vase with people in the decoration, next to a basket of flowers, sitting at the edge of a decorative mantel. Some of the trellis pattern is seen in front of the cartouche. A round vase with a plant bearing fruit climbs a trellis on the left side of the pattern with a decorative base underneath. A small blooming plant sits at the bottom of the plate.
