Plate, 7 inches diameter. Black transfer. Printed and impressed maker's marks for George Jones & Sons. This pattern consists of three motifs. One is a lattice covered in blooming chrysanthemums. Another is bamboo stalks and a flowering stem. The last is two cartouches filled with flowers and foliage. Asian writing characters appear around the well. The border consists of a simple, repeated geometric pattern.
