Sometimes I want a good wallow. But when I am ready to be cheered up I will go out either to the garden, grocery or florist and get myself flowers. Beauty is powerful. It is also soothing, healing. And it’s an action I take with a visual reminder that this too shall pass and I can hurry it along with my own small choices. I also put on lipstick, even if I have no where to go. So I did include a tube of lipstick in the back ready to be discovered by those in the know. In my artistic vision the color pop of flowers in nature is a bit like the pop of color lipstick adds to the features. What do you do when you are ready to be cheered up?
