Statement
Some of my earliest memories revolve around art museums. I would stand in the halls of grand, towering buildings, point a chubby finger up at a work of art, and say, "I want to steal that!" It was part of a game my mom had made to entertain my sister and me; every time we saw something we liked, we would put it in our "imaginary house." Every time I left a museum, I took a part of it with me. To this day, my mom's game influences my practice; my work strives to amalgamate every composition, brush stroke, color, and shape I've taken with me to my imaginary house.
