Crossing Arrows (Black)

Lisa Hunt’s Crossing Arrows Black is an abstract screen printed work on gold leaf paper with grey and metallic gold ink. The overlapping open and ruled arrows are graphic and form a symmetrical repeat pattern. The print is trimmed with the image area butting the edge of the paper. The arrows denote direction and movement and create an optical illusion of background and foreground interchanging and floating on the surface. Signed and numbered on the verso.
