Amaury Dubois, born in 1980, is a contemporary painter from North of France, Lille
He uses different techniques : Oil paintings on canvas, abstract painting, modern painting, geometric painting, multicolor painting, colorful painting, inspired by Mucha, Mexican and also the photography...
Every month, his artistic news, his next exhibitions of paintings, made the final table, follow the steps in creating the next work.
After 4 years in graphic design at St Luc Institute, Tournai, Belgium, Amaury decided that he wanted to paint the life in motion.
His work is shown in different art galleries across the world, but some of his work is also part to many European and international art collections (in France Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Switzerland, Portuga,l Brazil, USA …)
Another outstanding fact, Amaury Dubois now sets his art in major design and construction projects. He has worked along with Mercedes Benz and has created a unique design for one particular Smart car.
Following this experience he sees again bigger when working closely with the architects and designers from NORPAC, a subsidiary company of Bouygues Telecom, at Lille stadium, for the project “Grand Stade de Lille – Communaute Urbaine de Lille”, where he paints 40 pieces of artwork in buildings surrounded the stadium.
We can surely recognize some inspiration from the surrealism mixed to the cubism, but when Amaury Dubois has to describe his style, he speaks about “Courbimes” (curvism).
Because nothing is straight in real life, Amaury decided to break straight lines.
Since Amaury Dubois has been permanently exhibited in the Knokke gallery.
