Toka Ibrahim (born February 1, 1998) is an Egyptian visual artist based in Alexandria. She graduated with a degree of Excellent from the Painting Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University in 2021.
In her artistic endeavors, Toka blends diverse forms and multiple mediums to create a unique artistic world using collage techniques. Her works focus on generating visually stimulating experiences that transport viewers into imaginative and diverse realms. Through her advanced techniques and innovative expression, Toka reflects a distinctive artistic vision that leaves its mark in the world of art.
She has participated in numerous local exhibitions, including the Youth Salon 34th and 35th sessions at the Cairo Opera House (2024, 2025), the Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts Competition and Exhibition (3rd, 4th, and 5th sessions) in painting and drawing at Zamalek, Cairo (2022–2024), the Agenda Exhibition 15th edition at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (2022), and various group exhibitions at prominent Cairo galleries including Zamalek Art Gallery, Motion Art Gallery, Zahwa Art Gallery, and The Nox Art Gallery (2021–2024). She also participated in the Nawar Drawing Competition, 3rd session, at the Museum of Fine Arts in Alexandria (2019).
Internationally, Toka participated in the group exhibition Unlimited in Washington, D.C., celebrating the centenary of official relations between Egypt and the United States (2022), and in a group exhibition in France where several of her artworks were acquired (2021).
Among her notable activities, Toka collaborated with Diwan Publishing House and the Naguib Mahfouz Foundation to design the cover for one of the late renowned author Naguib Mahfouz's novels in 2024. She also participated in the Sharm El Sheikh International Forum supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2018.
Through her innovative collage-based practice, Toka Ibrahim continues to explore new visual territories, establishing herself as a distinctive voice in Egypt's contemporary art scene.
