‎يارب... لا تجعلني جزار يذبح الخرفان ولا تجعلني شاة يذبحها الجزارون.

‎يارب... ساعدني على ان ارى الناحية الاخرى من الصورة ولا تتركني اتهم أخصامي بأنهم خونة لأنهم اختلفوا معي في الرأي.

‎يارب.... اذا أعطيتني مالا لا تأخذ سعادتي، وإذا أعطيتني قوة لا تأخذ عقلي، وإذا أعطيتني نجاحا لا تأخذ تواضعي، واذا أعطيتني تواضعا لا تأخذ اعتزازي بكرامتي

‎يارب... ساعدني ان أحب الناس كما أحب نفسي وعلمني ان أحاسب نفسي كما أحاسب الناس.

‎يارب... لا تدعني اصاب بالغرور اذا نجحت ولا اصاب باليأس اذا فشلت

‎يارب... علمني ان التسامح هو اكبر مراتب القوة وان حب الانتقام هو اول مظاهر الضعف.

‎يارب... اذا جردتني من المال اترك لي الأمل

‎يارب اذا اسأت الى الناس، أعطني شجاعة الاعتذار وإذا اساء الناس الي أعطني شجاعة العفو والغفران.

‎يارب اذا نسيتك لاتنسني.

O Lord don't make me a butcher slaughtering sheep, nor a sheep slaughtered by butchers.

O Lord, help me to see the other side of the picture and don't let me accuse my adversaries of treason just because they disagree with me.

O Lord, if You grant me wealth, don't take away my happiness; if You give me strength, don't take away my mind; if You give me success, don't take away my humility; and if You give me humility, don't take away my pride in my dignity.

O Lord, help me to love people as I love myself and teach me to hold myself accountable as I hold others accountable.

O Lord don't let me become arrogant if I succeed, and don't let me fall into despair if I fail.

O Lord, teach me that forgiveness is the highest form of strength and that the love of revenge is the first sign of weakness.

O Lord, if You strip me of wealth, leave me with hope.

O Lord, if I wrong others, give me the courage to apologize, and if others wrong me, give me the courage to forgive and pardon.

O Lord, if I forget you, do not forget me.
