إن الصمت ليس فراغًا أو غيابًا، بل حالة كثيفة، ممتلئة، لها حضورها الخاص. الوجه هنا مغلق العينين، هادئ الملامح، بلا أي إشارة إلى انفعال أو رغبة في التواصل - لكنه ليس فارغًا من المعنى؛ فالسطح المتشقق الذي يغطيه بالكامل يوحي بأن هذا الصمت يحمل في داخله طبقات من التجربة والزمن، تمامًا كما يحمل السطح المتصدع أثر كل ما مرّ به.
اللون الأزرق الداكن، البارد، يعزز هذا الإحساس بالانغلاق الداخلي: ليس لونًا للتعبير أو الادعاء، بل للتأمل والانسحاب. الفم يكاد يشير إلى خط بالكاد يُلمح، والفراغ المظلم أسفل الوجه يوحي بعمق لا يُرى من الخارج - كأن ما لا يُقال أكبر بكثير مما يظهر على السطح.
