We Are the Ones We’ve Been Waiting For is the centerpiece of 12 original pieces created as part of the collection, Restorative Joy: Recollecting Black Innocence. The collection was started in 2020, and is a counter response to the negative imagery and narratives associated with black and brown bodies.
