I co-hosted a Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea for two of my ceramics students, who both have lymphoma. One of them brought these gorgeous dahlias to decorate the table, and I just had to paint them the next day. They were so joyous and full of life, like these two women, despite what they were going through.
