The High Country is full of magnificent mountains, and the Bluff is one of the best. The skeletal snow gums are a result of bushfires past. The stunning uplift of rock ledges that form the Bluff is an iconic landmark in the high country above the Howqua River near Mansfield. It is only accessible by 4WD, on foot, or skis in the winter, so it is a view that is earned.
