Online Viewing Room Switzerland from Viktoria Koestler

DEEP BLUE WATER AND LIGHTS by Viktoria A Koestler Image: This work explores the fragility of the ocean. The painting mainly consists of the very deep blue that humans think we can discover in the oceans.

“Deep Blue Water and Lights” exudes an obscure mixture of tranquility and movement. The light refracts, as if an object of great weight has crashed into the water’s depth and is now slowly sinking to the bottom. As the object slows, the lights trickle off its sharper facets, almost twinkling. While there is an overwhelming sense of falling, the blue soothes the viewer, suggesting that all is well. This work morphs any room into a place of contemplation and reflection.
