Russian filigree and Eastern repoussé patterned mokume gane pendant on an 18 in, Roman chain

The design for this piece came from the flourishing strokes I created around a Fraktur calligraphy wall mural. In looking at the smaller scale drawing for the lettering design, I saw an unlimited source of possibilities that fit well with my metalsmithing aesthetic.
