The 8.5 x 11, casebound edition was created to replicate the bold palette and nuanced hand-lettering of Victoria’s original illuminated manuscript.

In the multi-touch version, the artwork comes alive with vibrant animations set to rhythmic jazz piano. The book’s unique and original artwork encompasses mixed media and gilt paintings, hand-lettering, and a time-lapsed, Eastern repoussé cover of mokume gane that combines the author’s pioneering of ancient Egyptian and Japanese metalsmithing techniques. The pages expand in exceptional detail, and the texts are read by the author to create a truly one-of-a-kind experiential book.

Giving Voice is the winner of the 2019 IPPY for best ebook design (Bronze), the 2020 e-Literature Award for best multi-media book (Silver), and a 2020 finalist of the National Indie Excellence Award for best interior book design.
