This is one of the works that triggered my 'Right to Rage' project, dedicated to female rage, and it was created as a response to horrific war crimes by Russian soldiers in Bucha, Ukraine. This created a multi-layered turmoil in me as I am an artist of Russian heritage. Apart from being horrified by the unspeakable violence I also was left with shattered identity. At this point it made me identify more with womanhood than ethnicity / nationality.
