Edoardo Cialfi studied at the Alpinolo Magnini Academy of Art and earned a First-Class Diploma in Painting and Visual Arts from LABA, Florence. He is currently pursuing a specialization in Art-Cultural Mediation in Painting Studio Direction at the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona.
Beginning his artistic journey in 2008 with aerosol art, Cialfi later shifted from walls to traditional surfaces such as canvas and wood, reinterpreting archetypal pictorial languages—particularly landscape painting—while maintaining strong ties to his street art roots.
In his recent works, smog-shrouded urban landscapes rendered in spray and oil coexist with structures that blur the line between photography and sculpture. His landscapes move beyond aesthetics, exploring fog as a metaphor for modern isolation and insecurity, and storm as nature’s autonomous, indifferent force—reflecting both the physical and emotional landscapes that shaped his life.
