仁吉近年來的創作主題以動物為主，在這些動物身上記錄著藝術家每天的所思所想，可以說是他的心靈日記。透過擬人化，藝術家追求在動物身上表現出人類體驗到的喜怒哀樂的普遍性。如果仔細觀察，可以發現動物們的眼睛都是閉上的，帶給人寧靜、虔誠的安全感覺，而且有趣的是，藝術家會為其每件作品作一首可愛的詩。
Akihiko Yoshida hopes to bring joy to people through his works and insists on using Hokkaido wood for his creations. Unlike the somber feel of traditional wood carvings, his sculptures are ethereal and light, like porcelain, each piece imbued with its own spirit.
In recent years, his works have primarily focused on animals, recording the artist's daily thoughts and reflections in these creatures—essentially his personal diary. Through anthropomorphism, the artist strives to express the universality of human emotions—joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness—through animals. Upon close observation, one can notice that the animals' eyes are always closed, conveying a sense of tranquility, reverence, and security. Interestingly, the artist also composes a charming poem for each piece.
