Artist notes: The weather was unsettled but warm. I decided to take a chance on a July afternoon plein air painting. It required at times tipping the painting downward to keep the rain off of it and the humidity is so high that the layers dried slow. Still, it is possible the best place to spend an afternoon if one must have a paint brush in their hand.
