"This painting began for my 'Coded Light' series, which was informed by walking the coast path near my home in Pembrokeshire and 'absorbing' observations and emotions that were often unleashed in the process of being out in the elements. Back in the studio these observations developed into an expressive visual language, allowing me to vent internal thoughts and feelings."
