A full year unfolds from top to bottom in this one-of-a-kind bead mosaic, moving through the quiet whites of winter, the fresh greens of spring, the deeper richness of summer, and the brilliant oranges and golds of fall.
Rather than separating the seasons into individual panels, this piece brings all four together in one continuous composition. Each grove of aspens has its own color, texture, and atmosphere, while the recurring white trunks create a visual rhythm that ties the entire work together.
Thousands of individually placed glass beads build the foliage, snow, ground, and subtle shifts in color, creating a highly textured surface that changes as the light moves across it. The painted blue background gives the piece a clean, contemporary feel and allows each season to stand apart while still reading as part of the same story.
At 18 x 45 inches, the tall, narrow format makes a strong statement without requiring a wide wall, making it especially well suited for an entryway, stair landing, narrow wall, or vertical architectural space.
Four Seasons is a celebration of change, continuity, and the beauty found in every part of the year.
