What began as a collaborative painting with my daughter gradually evolved into an independent exploration of intuition, gesture, and transformation. Built through successive layers of paint, collage, and revision, the work records a process of discovery rather than a predetermined outcome. Dissonance to Euphony reflects the movement from visual and emotional tension toward a quieter sense of coherence, not through resolution, but through the accumulation of decisions made in the studio. Looking back, the painting marks an early investigation into ideas of emotional presence and material history that continue to shape my practice today.
