This work looks at what it feels like to live within systems and structures that shape how we think, feel, and see ourselves.
The painting is made up of areas of dense color broken up by boxes and lines. Some sections feel open and bright, while others feel closed in or heavy. These different parts sit next to each other without one becoming dominant or resolved.
The work holds these contrasts at the same time, allowing different emotional states to exist side by side without needing to be resolved or fixed.
