After creating the bronze bust of Homer Simpson for 20th Century Fox, I hung a Matt Groening autographed photo of the bust in my studio. In the background are fluffy clouds from The Simpsons' opening credits. As I began painting this piece, the clouds began Porsche-like then became more Simpson-esque as looked at those cartoon clouds over "Springfield."
