Tokyo, 1990-1994

Between 1990 & 1994 I decided to devote myself to an overview of the cities in my heart and with the help pof some sponsors, since I was very poor at that time, I was able to paint and even publish a Flyer thanks to Artemedia Gallery & Tyroller Druck Center Munich. With great joy I exhibited all the "Do You Know" canvases at an Art Fair! Dr. Elisabetta Abbondanza wrote a nice text mentioning my travels! I was called a "Globetrotting Artist" and this Tokyo canvas puts the emphasis on a central hourglass where the Spirit, high part, is much larger than the earthly part. Did I want to praise the SOUL WELL-BEING I had enjoyed in Japan? Of course! On the lower left side a ribbon (Note the care Japanese people put into wrapping gifts and I have re-proposed it) that rolled up contains an Amulet, a CORAL symbolizing my HEART left in Tokyo!

Tra il 1990 & il 1994 decisi di dedicarmi ad una panoramica sulle città che avevo nel cuore e grazie a degli sponsors, poiché ero molto poVERA in quel periodo, riuscii a dipingere e a pubblicare persino un Flyer grazie a Artemedia Gallery & Tyroller Druck Center Munich. Con grande gioJA esposi tutte le tele „Do You Know“ ad una Fiera d'Arte! Dr. Elisabetta Abbondanza scrisse un testo simpatico citando i miei viaggi! Ero chiamata „Artista Giramondo“ e questa tela di Tokyo mette l‘accento su una clessidra centrale dove lo SpiRITO, parta alta, è molto più grande della parte terrena. Volevo lodare il BENESSERE DELL‘ANIMA che avevo goduto in Giappone? Certamente! Sulla parte sinistra in basso un nastro (NOTAI l‘ accuratezza che i giapponesi mettono nell‘impacchettare i regali e l‘ho riproposto) che arrotolato contiene un Amuleto, un CORallo che simboleggia il mio CUORE rimasto a Tokyo!
