My Love for Dante Alighieri extended to his followers as well, among them Dante Gabriel Rossetti, the subject of my Graduate Thesis. His father, an Italian teacher in England, had named him after Dante himself...so great was his passion for the Divine Comedy. D.G. Rossetti was a Pre-Raphaelite painter who inspired my Dissertation. In fact, my beloved professor La Regina, knowing my artistic and metaphysical streak, advised me to research this great poet and painter. The dissertation that got top marks was a milestone in my Life, as the title "UT PICTURA POESIS" baptized other books of mine. I am very grateful first of all to Fulvia Celommi and then to Gabriella Micks La Regina for investing their Faith in me!
Il mio Amore per Dante Alighieri si estendeva anche ai suoi seguaci, tra questi Dante Gabriel Rossetti, soggetto della mia Tesi di Laurea. Il padre, insegnante di italiano in Inghilterra, lo aveva chiamato proprio con il nome di Dante, grande era la sua passione per la Divina Commedia. D.G. Rossetti fu un pittore preraffaelita che ha ispirato la mia Tesi di Laurea. Difatti, la mia amatissima professoressa La Regina, conoscendo la mia vena artistica e metafisica, mi consigliò di fare ricerche su questo grande poeta e pittore. La tesi che ottenne il massimo dei voti fu una pietra miliare della mia Vita, in quanto il titolo "UT PICTURA POESIS" ha battezzato altri miei libri. Sono molto grata in primis a Fulvia Celommi e poi a La Regina per aver investito in me la loro Fede!
